HUSHLIGHT MUSIC is an independent UK label focused on modern melodic house, emotional club music and concise, memorable songwriting. The label name is also the artist name: every release comes out as HUSHLIGHT MUSIC, on HUSHLIGHT MUSIC.
The sound
Rather than over-explaining a story, each track is built around the line that remains once everything unnecessary has been removed. The sound favours tight rhythm, rolling bass, restrained atmosphere and hooks that work both as private thoughts and as shared dancefloor moments.
From I LET YOU BACK IN onwards, every song carries its own original lyrics and vocals.
Singles, EPs and mixes
The HUSHLIGHT MUSIC label releases melodic house and dance as singles and multi-version EPs. Six singles, from I LET YOU BACK IN to DOESN’T CHANGE, came out between April and July 2026. DON’T CALL IT LOVE followed in September as an EP in four versions, and ONE NIGHT NO PROMISES takes the idea further: one song in five mixes, each made for a different mood and dancefloor.
The visual world
Covers are developed as extensions of the songs. An open door can mean returning and a closed door can mean acceptance, so a listener can feel the story before they hear a word.
The story so far
The recent catalogue plays as one connected story. It opens with I LET YOU BACK IN: an open door, lights still on. From there it moves through OUT OF LINE, NO STRESS (I’M GOOD), TOO CLOSE NOW and JUST FOR NOW, until DOESN’T CHANGE closes the same door and leaves the lights on inside. The current release, the EP DON’T CALL IT LOVE, picks up the thread when someone comes back with better lines.
Next comes ONE NIGHT NO PROMISES, out Friday 16 October 2026: one song in five mixes – Melodic, House, CLUB, LATE and Dark Late – that carry it from the headphones to the dancefloor and on into the small hours.
Listen and follow
HUSHLIGHT MUSIC is building a connected catalogue one release at a time: independent in direction, deliberate in presentation and always centred on the emotional truth of the track. Every release is on Spotify, and the HUSHLIGHT MUSIC home page always leads with what’s new.
